make the app work better on mobile screens

"One thing I would like to do is use on my phone and my small tablet, it's very hard to see the whole actual diary bit on the screen, it is impossible to use on my phone and is hard work on my 7 inch tablet. It works fine on my 10 inch tablet. "
4 votesv7.30 released 10th February 2014 addressed the basic problem with displaying DiaryBooker on a small screen, we still have a little more work to do, but the product now works on a small screen.

make the top header smaller
the part where it shows the company name and externally states "24 hour booking screen" is over 4 lines, and there is a lot of white space to the right and left of the title, why is the title not wider?

Send Texts when moving or deleting an appointment
It would be good if, when the central booking Administrator moves or deletes an appointment, then a text is sent to the customer and/or the
Employee/Instructor to let them know that a change has been made1 votereleased in v6-20

Allow or prevent the use of square brackets in the name field
currently using square brackets causes an error which means that you can no longer add in any new contacts

Allow users to print out the days appointments
www.elliesanderson.com would like to be able to have a paper print out of each days appointments with optional additional fields included on the print out.

Also, is there anyway that an asterix could show on the appointment if a note has been written about that appt to remind me to look at the notes?

Improve the view so that the columns line up better when I have multiple days and multiple employees showing
You can change the number of instructors being shown on the screen by clicking on the header where the names of the instructors (employees) are.
So for example you can set it to only show 2-3 instructors and you can probably then see 7 days.We can also look at finding a way to see ALL instructors AND 7 days, but obviously the more there is on screen the less information you can actually see! However I do like what Google are doing with their calendar function and the tab functionality at the top of chrome, so we will probably…

Why are the names in the left hand box not in alphabetical order
This is something we need to fix, but its only actually an issue when adding new contacts, which are added at the bottom of the list, rather than in the correct place in order.
The system currently refreshes every 15 minutes and the order will be fixed at this point, or under the admin menu you can "refresh|contacts"A future release will have contacts being added into the list in the correct order.
